    Summer Vilkins, LCSW

    I am a former Division I soccer player and a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for supporting emerging and elite athletes. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Anthropology from St. Mary’s College of California, followed by a Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Psychology, and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy—both from Pepperdine University.

    My clinical journey began at a community mental health non-profit agency, where I worked with children, teens, adults, and facilitated anger management groups while also serving as a clinical supervisor. Today, I run a private practice in the Bay Area, primarily working with children, teens, and adults.

    My true passion lies in helping emerging and elite athletes of all ages and genders navigate the unique pressures of athletic life, including challenges related to anxiety, self-esteem, and identity. I find great joy in supporting these athletes as they learn to strike a healthy balance between having fun in their sport and working hard to reach their goals.

    • Workshops/webinars: Transforming negative self-talk, Creating visualization scripts, The power of affirmations. Topics done before: Introduction to Mindfulness, Integrating Mindfulness into Family Life, Anger Management tools, Creative Interventions for Children and Teens (for clinicians), and others that I have zero interest in revisiting.
    • Clients: Child, teen and young adult athletes experiencing anxiety related disorders, low self-esteem/self-doubt, and challenges related to identity. As for specific sports, I’m most familiar with team sports such as soccer, softball/baseball, and basketball, but also have experience working with solo sport athletes.

    Ashley Allen, LCSW

    I am an experienced Clinical Social Worker with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization industry with children, adolescents, and young adults. Majority of my mid-career has been working with unhoused families in shelter and providing clinical support and consultation to social services staff, non-clinical administrators, and incoming MSW/LMSW’s. I am skilled in crisis intervention, clinical supervision, & have strong leadership skills. I have recently transitioned my professional career into the higher education sector, supporting students mental health on campus. I provide direct counseling services to students, workshops, trainings, and consultation to administration, faculty, and staff, and clinical supervision and support to pre-licensed metal health professionals (interns, part-time clinicians).

    I am also a private practice owner, based in New York; House of Therapy. I have advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health/PMAD’s & specialize in counseling athletes and their ecosystems. My practice emphasizes treating clients apart of the BIPOC community who struggle with Anxiety, Depression, & other significant life changes & challenges. I approach my work from a psychodynamic lens & use a trauma informed model in how I work with clients.

    I hold a Post-graduate certificate in Clinical Supervision from NYU.

    • Specialties: My primary specialty is working with young adults who are engaged in high-performance and achievement-oriented environments, such as academics, athletics, the performing arts (theatre/acting), and high-stress helping professions at both the collegiate and professional levels. I commonly support clients experiencing anxiety, performance-related challenges, depression, body image concerns, low self-esteem, perfectionism, burnout, and complex relationship dynamics. Additionally, I have advanced training in clinical supervision as well as in the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).
    • Workshop/webinars: I have provided basic mental health training to provide psychoeducation on college campuses, created and developed mental health emergency action plans (MH EAPs) for university athletics and Global departments with trainings, provided training on managing/recognizing compassion fatigue and burnout.
    • Clients: Athletes in a competitive High school setting, collegiate setting or professional capacity. I also enjoy working with their families and their partners or both as a couple.

    Julie Shiller, ACSW

    Julie Shiller is a Mental Performance Coach and Associate Clinical Therapist (ACSW) with over 15 years of experience in coaching, youth development, and human performance. She is the founder of The Other 23 Hours Coaching, a practice dedicated to helping athletes, coaches, and parents build the mental, emotional, and behavioral skills that fuel high performance and long-term well-being.

    With a background in strength and conditioning and a Master’s in Social Work, Julie integrates sport psychology, mindfulness, and habit formation to support youth, teen, and adult athletes—specializing in LGBTQ+ youth and girls’ and women’s sports, with a passionate focus on keeping girls in the game. Her approach includes self-talk training, mental imagery, breathwork, and the development of high-impact routines—addressing the often-overlooked hours beyond practice and competition.

    Julie holds certifications as a Pain-Free Performance Specialist, ACSM Personal Trainer, and Precision Nutrition Coach. She is currently a CMPC applicant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology and is working toward LCSW licensure in California.

    Her mission is to help athletes and coaches not just perform—but truly thrive in sport and life. Julie also leads workshops for the Positive Coaching Alliance and is a dedicated advocate for equity and inclusion in girls’ and women’s sports, with a special commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ youth.

    When she’s not coaching or presenting, you can find her lifting in the gym, hiking with her black lab Millie, or catching a women’s game. She’s all about movement, rest days, and making performance both fun and sustainable.

    For most of her life, Dr. Claire has been passionate about 5 main things: Mental Health and Wellness, Performance (athletic and musical), Education, Culture, and Family. Combining those passions led her to a career in clinical and sport psychology.

    Dr. Claire is both a clinician and an educator who is driven by the need to live with purpose and meaning. By helping others toward their own goals, she finds herself traveling down a path that was meant for her.

    Mounir Tyler, LCSW

    Mounir is passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced trauma throughout their life journey. Trained in EMDR, he utilizes a trauma-informed approach that is nonjudgmental, compassionate, and supportive. Mounir works with both individuals and couples, helping them manage emotions and develop effective strategies to navigate daily life challenges. His practice is dedicated to motivating and empowering clients to rebuild confidence, achieve their personal and professional goals, and cultivate realistic, sustainable wellness practices.
